Area Manager - B2B Dealer Banker

About the role

The Area Manager – B2B Dealer Banker will lead the acquisition and relationship management of Bajaj Finance’s CD dealers, promoting a suite of pre‑approved credit products to drive business growth in the Pune region.

Key responsibilities

• Acquire new CD dealers and deepen existing relationships for revolving credit lines, LAP/HL Flexi loans and business loans.
• Deliver the annual operating plan by meeting targets for loan book size, utilization, interest spreads and cross‑sell ratios.
• Maintain regular customer contact, ensure timely renewals and monitor portfolio credit quality, including delinquencies and cost of credit.
• Develop and execute annual account plans for retailers, tracking exceptions, deferrals and deviations.
• Manage delinquency processes and initiate early recovery actions for overdue accounts.

Required profile

• CA or MBA in Finance with 4‑6 years of relevant lending experience.
• Strong entrepreneurial mindset with high integrity, urgency and result‑orientation.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, able to multitask in a fast‑paced environment.
• Experience in SME lending or mortgages is an advantage.
