About the role
We are looking for an Anchor Producer to own automotive news stories from research and ideation through scripting, production, and on‑camera presentation for Auto Manch, the dedicated automobile vertical of VidUnit Media.
Key responsibilities
- Research daily automobile‑related news, launches, policies and trends, and identify stories suitable for video content.
- Develop original story ideas for YouTube and other digital platforms, writing clear, engaging and fact‑checked scripts.
- Anchor and present news videos on camera, delivering scripts confidently and building an engaging on‑screen personality.
- Coordinate with video production, camera, graphics and editing teams to ensure timely story completion.
- Plan and support shoots, including outdoor events, launches, press conferences and interviews with industry experts.
Required profile
- 1–4 years of experience in journalism, digital media, automobile content or news production.
- Strong research and storytelling abilities, with a knack for simplifying complex automotive information.
- Comfortable appearing on camera regularly and delivering scripts naturally.
- Ability to work closely with production, graphics and editorial teams to bring stories to life.
