AGM (F&B Sales) – 7-8 Years Experience

About the role

The Assistant General Manager (AGM) – Food & Beverage Sales will lead HungerBox’s B2B sales efforts, driving revenue growth across corporate, education, healthcare and industrial segments. Reporting to senior leadership, the AGM will shape market strategy, build a high‑performing sales team and own the P&L for the sales function.

Key responsibilities

• Define and execute a sales strategy aligned with company growth targets, setting quarterly and annual revenue goals.
• Identify new market segments, verticals and geographic opportunities, and lead go‑to‑market plans for new product launches.
• Recruit, train and mentor sales managers and individual contributors, fostering a culture of excellence and accountability.
• Own the complete P&L for sales, driving acquisition and expansion across target industries and managing complex enterprise deals with C‑suite executives.
• Collaborate with marketing, product, operations and customer success teams to ensure seamless delivery and influence product roadmap.
• Monitor competitive landscape, industry trends and regulatory changes, providing market intelligence to senior leadership.
• Represent HungerBox at industry conferences and build relationships with food partners and industry associations.

Required profile

• 7‑8 years of B2B sales experience, including at least 5 years in a sales leadership role.
• Proven ability to build and scale sales teams from the ground up.
• Track record of achieving revenue targets of ₹50+ crores annually.
• Experience in SaaS, food‑tech, enterprise software or technology‑enabled services.
• Strong people‑leadership, strategic thinking and data‑driven decision‑making skills.
• Excellent communication and executive presence for engaging with C‑suite leaders.
