Admission Counselor – Walk‑In Drive

About the role

The Admission Counselor will manage all inbound inquiries from prospective learners across multiple channels and guide them through the enrollment journey. This position is focused on converting interest into enrollment while maintaining a high‑quality candidate experience.

Key responsibilities

• Respond promptly to calls, emails, WhatsApp, chat and web‑form inquiries, ensuring each lead is followed up until enrollment or clear closure.
• Conduct discovery conversations to understand prospects' goals, background and decision‑making constraints.
• Lead sales discussions, presenting program structure, duration, fees, certification value and learning outcomes.
• Address pricing, workload, credibility and timeline questions with data‑driven answers.
• Maintain a robust enrollment funnel, documenting interactions and next actions in the CRM.
• Generate new leads through LinkedIn outreach, referrals and personal networks.
• Monitor lead health, revive at‑risk prospects and ensure ethical, privacy‑compliant communication.
• Collaborate with Admissions, IT, Data and Academic teams for smooth handover and onboarding.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications or a related field (MBA preferred but not mandatory).
• 1–4 years of experience in sales, admissions or business development, preferably in EdTech or higher education.
• Proven track record of meeting or exceeding enrollment targets.
