Active Directory / Windows / VMware Administrator

About the role

We are looking for an experienced administrator to provide L1/L2 support for Windows Server environments and manage core infrastructure services. You will join the Infosys delivery team, contributing to design, development, validation and ongoing support for our clients' digital transformation initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Provide L1/L2 support for Windows Server 2012, 2016, 2019 and 2022.
• Manage Active Directory tasks including user creation, group policy updates and access management.
• Perform routine VMware administration such as VM provisioning, snapshot management and system monitoring.
• Gather and translate client requirements into detailed system specifications.
• Assist in effort estimation and provide input to project leads and managers.
• Contribute to building efficient programs and systems that meet client expectations.

Required profile

• Strong understanding of Windows Server and Active Directory concepts.
• Hands‑on experience with VMware administration.
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure issues at L1/L2 level.
• Good communication skills to interact with clients and internal teams.
