Account Manager – Offline (Distributor & Channel Management)

About the role
Bose is seeking a highly motivated Account Manager to drive its offline business through appointed distributors across Single Brand Stores, Large Format Retail, Duty Free, and key consumer electronics dealers. The role combines sell‑in, sell‑through, forecasting and inventory health responsibilities with retailer partnership and brand execution.
Key responsibilities
- Lead sell‑in, sell‑through, demand planning and forecasting (Lag1/Lag3) for the distributor network.
- Submit monthly purchase orders in Week 1, manage annual operating plans, and track margin delivery.
- Maintain optimal inventory levels, days of supply and ageing, and ensure store compliance and visual merchandising.
- Support distributors in store execution, promotions, new product introductions, planograms and retail marketing.
- Build strong relationships with retailers, resolve inventory or visibility issues, and influence placement and space decisions.
- Evaluate new store opportunities, oversee store refits, and conduct brand audits.
- Collaborate with Marketing, Trade Marketing, Planning, Logistics and Finance to ensure seamless operations.
Required profile
- 10‑12 years of experience in Key Account Management, offline retail or distributor management (consumer electronics/technology preferred).
- Deep understanding of single‑brand store, large‑format retail and consumer‑electronics ecosystems.
- Proven ability in sales forecasting, purchase‑order management and inventory planning.
- Strong relationship‑building, conflict‑management and analytical skills.
- Experience managing promoter teams and retail marketing execution.
- Willingness to travel for store visits, audits and reviews.
