About the role
The Account Executive, SMB role at Deel focuses on driving sales and expanding the client base within the small‑and‑medium business segment in India. Reporting to the Manager of SMB, you will be responsible for acquiring new business, nurturing relationships, and delivering tailored solutions that align with Deel’s global payroll and HR platform.
Key responsibilities
- Represent and demonstrate the value of Deel to prospects and existing customers.
- Build and develop relationships with SMB prospects and customers to create opportunities for cross‑selling and upselling.
- Research and qualify client requirements to propose appropriate solutions.
- Collaborate closely with the Sales Development Representative (SDR) team to strategize outreach and pipeline development.
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities and forecast revenue targets.
Required profile
- Proven experience in B2B sales, preferably within the SaaS or HR technology space.
- Strong ability to engage SMB decision‑makers and understand their unique challenges.
- Excellent communication and relationship‑building skills.
- Self‑motivated with a results‑driven mindset.
