About the role
Gensler is looking for a passionate Workplace Designer to join its Workplace team. You will collaborate with Design Directors and senior leadership on a variety of high‑impact projects that shape memorable environments for clients.
Key responsibilities
- Lead the development of cohesive, rational design solutions that meet project briefs and comply with technical, legal, and financial requirements.
- Guide the team on local and national code compliance and mentor junior designers.
- Research and recommend appropriate systems, materials, and finishes.
- Prepare and present graphic materials, design schemes, and documentation to clients.
- Oversee design development packages, ensuring design intent is accurately translated into construction documents.
- Collaborate with technical coordinators, manage client relationships, and support business development efforts.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Architecture.
- Minimum 6 years of experience delivering multiple completed projects.
- Strong communication, client‑relationship, and presentation abilities.
- Self‑starter with excellent problem‑solving skills, both individually and within a team.
Required skills
- Proficiency in Revit.
- Experience with 3D computer design programs.
- Ability to produce detailed technical drawings and specifications.
