Workplace Contracts Advisor

About the role

The Workplace Contracts Advisor joins bp’s global Workplace Performance & Integration team, supporting the end‑to‑end property lifecycle for the corporate office portfolio. Based in Pune, the role focuses on overseeing and governing key workplace contracts to ensure compliance with bp standards and to meet business needs.

Key responsibilities

• Lead contract governance for the strategic global outsourced service partner, applying partnering methodology.
• Collaborate closely with Procurement and Workplace Leadership Team to manage key contracts and provide subject‑matter expertise to colleagues handling smaller agreements.
• Develop and maintain multi‑year (up to five years) contract governance plans, including problem resolution and decision‑making within bp’s contract management framework.
• Design and deliver a compliance oversight programme with suppliers and internal SMEs, providing assurance on contractor performance.
• Ensure all third‑party agreements fully comply with contractual requirements and that bp meets its obligations, updating contracts as needed.

Required profile

• Proven experience in contract governance and management within a large, multi‑location organization.
• Knowledge of partnering methodology and ability to apply it to strategic supplier relationships.
• Strong collaboration skills to work with Procurement, Workplace leadership, and internal subject‑matter experts.
• Ability to develop long‑term contract plans and oversee compliance programmes.
