Workday Integration Developer

About the role

The Workday Integration Developer will join the Digital Technology Human Resources Applications team to design, build and maintain integration solutions for the Global HR Workday platform. You will work closely with product owners, business stakeholders and cross‑functional teams to ensure reliable data flow and automation across the HR technology landscape. This role requires deep knowledge of Workday integration tools and strong problem‑solving abilities.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, test and deploy Workday integration solutions using Studio, Core Connectors, EIBs and PECIs.
• Troubleshoot and resolve integration issues across the HR ecosystem.
• Collaborate with product owners and business stakeholders to translate requirements into technical specifications.
• Analyze functional specifications and change requests, producing detailed technical designs.
• Provide guidance on integration strategies to business, IT and service partners.
• Conduct unit and end‑to‑end testing to verify interfaces meet functional and technical criteria.
• Support project teams during integration discovery, scoping and implementation phases.
• Coordinate delivery schedules and ensure timelines are met.
• Assist cross‑functional teams with Workday releases and regression testing.
• Follow change‑control processes for implementing integration changes.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution.
• Minimum 5 years overall experience with at least 3 years as a Workday Integrations Consultant/Developer.
• At least 3 years of hands‑on experience with Workday integration tools (Studio, Core Connectors, EIBs, PECIs).
• Minimum 2 years experience integrating applications via SOAP and REST web‑service APIs.
• Minimum 2 years experience programming with JavaScript, XSLT, JSON and XPath.
