WordPress Developer – Full Stack & E‑Commerce

About the role

The company is seeking a skilled WordPress Developer to design, build, and maintain high‑performance WordPress and Shopify e‑commerce sites. You will work closely with project managers, designers and clients to deliver scalable, secure solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Plan projects, define scopes, create technical specifications and timelines.
• Architect scalable, maintainable WordPress and Shopify solutions following coding standards.
• Develop custom themes, plugins, integrations and complex features.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines, conduct testing and code reviews to ensure quality.
• Troubleshoot technical issues and provide timely resolutions.
• Stay up‑to‑date with WordPress, Shopify and related technologies and apply innovations.
• Interact with clients to gather requirements, present solutions and manage expectations.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of professional web development experience with WordPress.
• Proven ability to work in Agile/Scrum teams and lead development efforts.

Required skills

• WordPress development – custom themes, plugins, WooCommerce, multisite.
• Shopify development and integration.
• Frontend: HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery, Bootstrap, responsive design.
• Backend: PHP, MySQL, server‑side technologies.
• Version control: Git, GitHub.
• DevOps: Docker, Jenkins, CI/CD pipelines, AWS/Azure/Google Cloud.
• E‑commerce best practices, payment gateways, SEO and UX optimisation.
• Security best practices and performance optimisation.
• Third‑party integrations such as CRM, marketing automation and analytics tools.
