Windows Server Administrator (On-site, Jammu)

About the role

Atomic North, the Indian delivery arm of Supra ITS, is looking for an experienced Windows Server Administrator to join its team in Jammu. The role is on‑site and focuses on managing and optimizing Windows Server environments to ensure reliable performance and availability.

Key responsibilities

• Administer Windows Server infrastructure, including installation, configuration, and upgrades.
• Manage user and group accounts, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and Group Policy objects.
• Perform regular server maintenance, apply security patches, and conduct system updates.
• Troubleshoot server‑related issues and resolve incidents promptly.
• Monitor system performance and availability, ensuring service level targets are met.
• Document configurations, procedures, and changes for audit and knowledge sharing.
• Collaborate with other IT teams to support integrated services and projects.

Required profile

• Minimum 10 years of hands‑on experience in Windows Server administration.
• Strong knowledge of Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and Group Policy.
• Proven ability to maintain server security, apply updates, and ensure high availability.
• Excellent problem‑solving skills and attention to detail.
• Willingness to work on‑site in Jammu.
