Welder – Assembly & Refurbishment

About the role

We are looking for a Welder to join Emerson’s production team, responsible for assembling, refurbishing and testing transmitters in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment.

Key responsibilities

• Assemble, refurbish and test transmitters following work instructions, engineering standards and operating procedures.
• Set up and operate production and refurbishment equipment, including calibration, testing and packaging.
• Select, issue and store components and tools accurately in line with inventory and quality procedures.
• Complete required quality documentation and follow quality‑assurance processes to meet Emerson standards.
• Maintain a clean, safe and organized work environment through regular housekeeping and equipment care.
• Support production schedules while ensuring attention to detail and safety.
• Participate in safety, quality and continuous‑improvement activities, including hazard reporting and non‑conformance processes.
• Collaborate with team members and other departments to achieve shared production and operational goals.

Required profile

• Experience in manufacturing, assembly or a related production environment, or transferable hands‑on technical skills.
• Ability to read and follow work instructions, drawings and procedures with strong attention to detail.
• Commitment to safe work practices and use of personal protective equipment.
• Basic numeracy and literacy to complete documentation and follow production processes.
• Physical capability to perform manual tasks, stand for extended periods and safely handle components and tools.
• Team‑focused mindset with clear communication skills and willingness to learn.
