Web Developer – WordPress & Elementor Specialist

About the role

Longhouse Branding & Marketing is seeking a motivated Web Developer who will focus on building and maintaining WordPress sites using Elementor, while also supporting projects on Squarespace, Wix, and Shopify. The role blends front‑end development with design collaboration to deliver responsive, SEO‑friendly websites for our clients.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement new features on WordPress sites using Elementor.
• Define and maintain website architecture for performance and availability.
• Collaborate with designers to ensure visual intent, intuitive navigation, and responsive layouts.
• Develop and maintain sites on Squarespace, Wix, and Shopify as required.
• Customize and troubleshoot code with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Optimize designs for smartphones and tablets.
• Update websites with current trends, technologies, and SEO best practices.
• Conduct performance testing and resolve content issues.
• Communicate with clients to understand needs and deliver solutions.
• Perform SEO tasks, including blog post creation and optimization.
