Web Developer (React)

About the role

MeantToBe Inc. is building a next‑generation dating and social platform and needs a passionate, detail‑obsessed Web Developer to join its growing engineering team in Gurgaon. You will create high‑scale, high‑performance web experiences that power both internal tools and customer‑facing sites.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain responsive web applications using HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript (ES6+) and React.
• Build mobile‑first, device‑agnostic experiences that meet design specifications from Figma or mockups.
• Implement and optimize admin, ops, and customer‑facing portals for speed, SEO, and Core Web Vitals.
• Integrate frontend code with backend APIs, handling dynamic data rendering efficiently.
• Ensure cross‑browser compatibility, accessibility, and responsiveness.
• Participate in code reviews, CI/CD pipelines, and automated testing.
• Monitor user feedback and address hidden quality issues.

Required profile

• 2–5+ years of professional experience in modern frontend development.
• Strong eye for design fidelity and pixel‑perfect implementation.
• Experience working in fast‑moving startup or 0→1 product environments is a plus.

Required skills

• HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript (ES6+)

• Build tools such as Vite or Webpack
• Browser developer tools
• Familiarity with Lovable, Cursor, Framer, Storybook or similar frontend platforms
• Knowledge of Progressive Web Apps (PWA) concepts
