Web Developer (Laravel, VueJS, Angular)

About the role

We are looking for a Web Developer to join VetHelpDirect, a pet‑tech company that connects pet owners with veterinary practices. You will work on a suite of digital products – directory, symptom checker, health library and blog – using modern web technologies.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain web applications built with Laravel, WordPress, VueJS and Angular.
• Improve existing services and create new features for our UK and Australian markets.
• Build responsive, high‑performance user interfaces.
• Collaborate with product, design and operations teams to deliver innovative solutions.
• Write clean, testable code and participate in code reviews.
• Deploy and manage applications using Docker and Docker Swarm.

Required profile

• Self‑starter with 3‑10+ years of professional web development experience.
• Strong communication skills in English and ability to work in a collaborative team.
• Proven track record of self‑learning and delivering quality software.

Required skills

• Laravel, PHP, WordPress, Twig.
• JavaScript frameworks: VueJS, Angular.
• HTML, CSS/SASS, responsive design.
• MySQL database development.
• Docker and Docker Swarm.
