Web Developer – Front‑End & UI/UX Specialist

About the role

We are seeking a talented Web Developer with strong design expertise to build, enhance, and maintain our web platforms for an EdTech environment. The ideal candidate will combine front‑end development skills with a keen eye for UI/UX to deliver engaging, responsive experiences for students, faculty, and administrators.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and improve company websites, learning portals, and internal tools.
• Create responsive, user‑friendly interfaces for multiple user groups.
• Collaborate with designers, product managers, and content teams to implement new features.
• Integrate APIs, payment gateways, LMS modules, and third‑party tools commonly used in EdTech.
• Optimize website performance, loading speed, and SEO.
• Ensure cross‑browser compatibility and mobile responsiveness.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing systems.
• Maintain code quality through testing, documentation, and version control.
• Produce UI components, graphics, banners, and layouts as needed.

Required skills

• HTML, CSS, JavaScript
• Modern front‑end frameworks such as React or Angular
• Node.js for server‑side development
• Backend experience with Python (Django/Flask) or PHP (Laravel)
• Database knowledge: MySQL, MongoDB, PostgreSQL
• REST API integration
• Version control with Git
• Cloud platforms: AWS, Azure, or GCP
• Understanding of SEO best practices and performance optimization
• Familiarity with LMS platforms or EdTech workflows (preferred)
