Warehouse Worker

About the role

The Warehouse Worker role at CBSC BOOK SHOP is a full‑time, on‑site position based in Coimbatore. You will be responsible for receiving, unloading and organizing educational materials while ensuring accurate storage and inventory management.

Key responsibilities

• Packing and preparing orders for shipment, ensuring items are correctly labeled and protected.
• Loading and unloading deliveries using forklifts, pallet jacks or other material‑handling equipment.
• Operating material‑handling equipment safely and efficiently.
• Maintaining a clean, safe and well‑organized work environment.
• Verifying shipment documents, reporting any discrepancies and updating inventory records.
• Coordinating with publishing and logistics teams to guarantee timely distribution of products.

Required profile

• Experience in shipping & receiving, including checking deliveries and managing inventory records.
• Ability to follow safety procedures and handle repetitive tasks with attention to detail.
• Basic reading and math skills to interpret labels, counts and shipping documents.
• Reliability, punctuality and the capacity to work both independently and as part of a diverse team.
