Warehouse IT Support Specialist

About the role

The Warehouse IT Support Specialist ensures the smooth operation of the warehouse’s IT infrastructure, providing hardware, network, and system support while acting as the first line of assistance for the Infor WMS application. This role is critical to maintaining uninterrupted warehouse processes.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and support warehouse IT assets such as desktops, RF/handheld devices, barcode printers, UPS, network devices, and internet connectivity.
• Coordinate ISP installations, UPS deployment, asset management, hardware maintenance, and vendor support.
• Troubleshoot hardware, networking, Wi‑Fi, printers, servers and other warehouse IT issues, meeting SLA timelines.
• Perform preventive maintenance, device imaging, firmware updates and lifecycle management of IT equipment.
• Provide first‑level support for Infor WMS, including user access, login issues, RF device integration, printing and application troubleshooting.
• Work with Corporate IT and Infor support teams for issue escalation, upgrades, patches and testing.
• Maintain IT documentation, SOPs, asset registers, network records and ensure compliance with security policies.
• Deliver on‑site, remote and telephonic support and train warehouse users on basic device troubleshooting and WMS usage.

Required profile

• Graduate from a recognized university.
• 7+ years of IT support experience, preferably in warehouse, logistics, distribution or retail environments.
• Strong knowledge of TCP/IP networking, Wi‑Fi, switches, Windows OS, Active Directory and basic server administration.
• Hands‑on experience with RF/barcode scanners and Zebra or Honeywell printers.
• Exposure to Infor WMS or similar Warehouse Management Systems.
• Excellent troubleshooting, documentation, ticket management and communication skills.
