Waitress

About the role

The Waitress position is a full‑time, on‑site role at Onholidays Travel Company’s restaurant in Hyderabad. You will be the front‑line host for guests, ensuring a friendly, efficient and professional dining experience that reflects the company’s high service standards.

Key responsibilities

• Greet and seat guests, present menus and take food and beverage orders.
• Enter orders accurately into the POS system and coordinate with kitchen and bar staff for timely service.
• Serve meals and drinks, maintain clean and properly set tables, and respond promptly to guest requests or concerns.
• Handle payments, issue receipts and ensure accurate cash handling.
• Follow food safety, hygiene and sanitation standards throughout the shift.
• Support teammates during peak periods and help maintain a welcoming atmosphere.

Required profile

• Strong customer service and communication abilities.
• Experience or knowledge of food & beverage service and basic food preparation.
• Attention to detail, reliability and ability to work in a fast‑paced hospitality environment.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Basic numeracy for handling bills and payments.
• Previous experience in restaurants, hotels or cafés is an advantage; hospitality training or certification is beneficial.
