About the role
We are looking for a friendly and attentive Waiter (Steward) to join our dining team. In this position you will create memorable experiences for guests by delivering prompt, accurate service and maintaining a clean dining environment.
Key responsibilities
- Greet guests, present menus, explain daily specials and make recommendations.
- Take food and beverage orders accurately, often using a POS system, and relay them to the kitchen.
- Serve dishes and drinks promptly, ensuring proper presentation and quality.
- Process payments and handle cash transactions securely.
- Clear tables, sanitize surfaces, and reset seating for new guests.
- Upsell menu items and address guest inquiries or issues professionally.
Required profile
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast‑paced environment.
- Strong focus on customer service and guest satisfaction.
- Attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness.
Required skills
- Proficiency with point‑of‑sale (POS) software.
- Basic cash handling and payment processing.
