V&V Strategist – Automotive Verification & Validation

About the role

Bosch Global Software Technologies is looking for a seasoned V&V Strategist to shape and lead verification and validation strategies for next‑generation automotive systems. The role focuses on vehicle validation, performance testing, NCAP compliance, and functional safety while driving automation and continuous testing across global teams.

Key responsibilities

• Define and implement end‑to‑end V&V strategy at system, integration, and component levels.
• Lead vehicle validation and homologation tests, ensuring compliance with NCAP and other regulatory standards.
• Establish scalable test automation frameworks and continuous testing pipelines (nightly, weekly, regression).
• Drive innovation through new tools, processes, and technologies to improve V&V efficiency.
• Collaborate with global stakeholders to align practices and guarantee high‑quality delivery.
• Ensure adherence to automotive standards such as ISO 26262 and ASPICE.
• Mentor teams, build V&V competency, and provide structured training.

Required profile

• 15‑18 years of experience in automotive verification and validation, especially ADAS systems.
• Hands‑on experience with vehicle validation, performance, safety, security, and degradation testing.
• BE/BTech degree in a relevant engineering discipline.
• Preferred certifications: ISTQB Advanced (Test Manager/Analyst/Technical) and proven experience with ISO 26262 lifecycle.

• CI/CD tools: Jenkins, Azure Cloud, GitHub.
• Programming languages: Python, C++, Java.
• REST and FAST APIs, system integration testing.
• Knowledge of ISO 26262, ASPICE, and functional safety compliance.
