VP/SVP Commercial Design – Architecture Lead

About the role

RMZ Design Team is seeking an experienced and energetic senior professional to lead commercial design initiatives across high‑end office projects. The role combines strategic vision with hands‑on design execution, ensuring projects meet client expectations, regulatory standards, and aesthetic excellence.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the commercial design process from feasibility studies through to project completion.
• Define product mix, interior design concepts, lighting, graphics, and artwork for premium office spaces.
• Identify, evaluate, and appoint international and local design consultants and specialist partners.
• Review and approve consultant drawings at every design stage.
• Manage budgeting, value engineering, and cost‑optimization activities.
• Ensure design compliance with applicable codes and standards.
• Mentor and lead the internal design team, recruiting talent for future growth.
• Participate actively in business pitches and investor presentations.
• Monitor global property trends and integrate relevant innovations into developments.

Required profile

• Minimum 15 years of experience in commercial architectural and interior design, preferably in high‑end office environments.
• Proven ability to manage full design cycles, including schematic, detailed, and tender documentation.
• Strong leadership and team‑building capabilities.
• Experience in coordinating with multidisciplinary consultants and ensuring code compliance.
