VM Brakes BSW Developer – Automotive Software

About the role

We are looking for an experienced VM Brakes BSW Developer to join our automotive software team in Pune. You will work on developing and integrating Basic Software (BSW) modules for brake systems, ensuring compliance with AUTOSAR standards and automotive safety requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and integrate BSW modules for automotive brake systems.
• Configure and implement drivers, communication stacks, and related BSW components following AUTOSAR specifications.
• Collaborate with system, hardware, and application teams to achieve seamless brake control software integration.
• Analyze and troubleshoot CAN network issues to guarantee reliable ECU communication.
• Test, validate, and debug CAN communication for brake systems.
• Document software design, architecture, and test execution.
• Ensure adherence to automotive safety and quality standards such as ISO 26262.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Electronics, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Minimum 6 years of experience in automotive software development.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and communication abilities.

Required skills

• AUTOSAR BSW development.
• CAN communication and network troubleshooting.
• Proficiency with debugging tools such as CANalyzer and CANoe.
• Experience with automotive safety standards (ISO 26262).
• Familiarity with software development environments for embedded systems.
