About the role

We are seeking a passionate Visual Merchandising Co‑worker to join our Communication & Interior Design team. You will use your eye for aesthetics to create inspiring, affordable store presentations that enhance the shopping experience and reflect the IKEA identity.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement visual merchandising solutions that showcase a range of styles and price levels.
• Plan and execute store action plans in collaboration with the Com&In team and other departments.
• Maintain high‑quality, simple, and efficient range presentations following global guidelines.
• Stay updated on home‑furnishing trends and local market insights to drive innovative store solutions.
• Ensure store communication and commercial displays align with IKEA’s brand objectives.
• Maintain a safe, visually appealing store environment that prioritises visitor needs.

Required profile

• Design‑based education with strong visual competence.
• Experience in visual merchandising within a retail environment.
• Passion for home furnishing, retailing, and design.
• Customer‑focused mindset with understanding of local market needs.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment and meet deadlines.
• Strong team player with excellent collaboration skills.
• Basic communication skills in English.

Required skills

• Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD.
