About the role

Lom municipality is looking for a dedicated health‑care assistant to provide home‑care services to residents. You will work directly in people’s homes, ensuring they receive safe, compassionate, and holistic care for as long as possible.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver personal care, treatment, and follow‑up to users in their own homes.
• Promote a safe, holistic, and high‑quality service experience for each user.
• Collaborate with relatives, colleagues, and other professional groups.
• Document and plan work using the Profil and Mobil Omsorg systems.
• Utilise and help develop welfare‑technology solutions.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and service development.

Required profile

• Authorized health‑care assistant or care worker.
• Responsible, flexible, and able to take initiative.
• Comfortable working both independently and as part of a team.
• Solution‑oriented with a preference for a varied workday.
• Strong communication skills with users, relatives, and colleagues.
• Committed to professional development and contributing to a positive work environment.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Norwegian (both spoken and written).
• Valid driver’s licence (class B).
• Clean criminal record (police clearance).
