About the role

Adsomia India Pvt Ltd is seeking a full‑time Video Editing Faculty to join its Trivandrum campus. The role involves training learners in professional video editing workflows, guiding them through hands‑on projects, and helping them build industry‑ready portfolios.

Key responsibilities

• Design and deliver lesson plans for video editing, motion graphics, and audio post‑production.
• Conduct classroom theory sessions and practical lab workshops.
• Demonstrate editing techniques using industry‑standard software.
• Review learner assignments, provide constructive feedback, and assess progress.
• Collaborate with other trainers and the production team to keep curriculum aligned with current industry trends.

Required profile

• Strong proficiency with video editing tools such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve.
• Experience in motion graphics and visual effects using Adobe After Effects or similar applications.
• Knowledge of audio editing, sound design, and basic mixing.
• Ability to teach storytelling, visual composition, and pacing concepts.
• Experience in curriculum planning, classroom instruction, or mentoring learners is highly beneficial.
• A diploma or degree in film, media, visual communication, or a related field is preferred.
• Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
