Vice President – Financial Planning & Analysis

About the role

The Vice President – Financial Planning & Analysis will lead enterprise‑wide planning, forecasting and performance‑management activities for Mizuho Global Services. Reporting to senior leadership, the role is responsible for translating strategy into integrated financial plans and providing insight‑driven recommendations.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the annual strategic plan, operating plan and rolling forecast processes, including assumptions, templates, timelines and approvals.
• Convert growth plans, service changes and operational drivers into comprehensive financial plans covering revenue, cost, cash, investment and capacity.
• Manage monthly MIS reporting, variance analysis, risk identification and scenario modelling.
• Develop pricing models, cost methodologies and profitability analyses across services, clients and locations.
• Partner with business units to assess financial impact of strategic initiatives, staffing plans and expansion proposals.
• Lead investment and expansion business cases, preparing option analysis, NPV/Payback calculations and post‑investment tracking.
• Coordinate with Financial Control for certified actuals, commitments, accounting inputs and cash positions.

Required profile

• Extensive experience in financial planning and analysis within a large, complex organization.
• Proven ability to lead strategic planning, budgeting and forecasting cycles.
• Strong analytical mindset with expertise in variance, profitability and scenario analysis.
• Experience in pricing strategy, business partnering and investment case development.
• Excellent communication skills to present insights to senior leadership.
