Vendor Performance Manager, APAC

About the role

Airbnb’s Vendor Performance Management team drives the supply of vetted local professionals for the Homes program. As a Vendor Performance Manager for the APAC region, you will own the operational relationship with strategic vendors, ensuring they meet quality, efficiency and compliance standards.

Key responsibilities

• Own end‑to‑end performance of key vendors, tracking KPIs, SLAs and cost metrics.
• Conduct deep‑dive data analysis to uncover performance gaps and translate insights into actionable plans.
• Streamline operational workflows, improve reporting accuracy and build scalable processes for new initiatives.
• Lead business reviews with vendor partners, set clear action items and monitor progress.
• Partner with internal planning teams to align vendor capacity with short‑ and long‑term forecasts.
• Ensure contract compliance, security requirements and policy updates are strictly followed.
• Identify and mitigate operational and compliance risks across the vendor ecosystem.
• Act as the liaison between vendors and internal stakeholders such as Product, Legal, Finance and Training.

Required profile

• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to turn complex data into clear recommendations.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management skills.
• Experience managing vendor relationships or operational performance in a fast‑paced environment.
• Ability to drive continuous improvement and influence cross‑functional teams.
