Vehicle Application Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a Vehicle Application Engineer to join Bosch’s Mobility Solutions and Cross Domain Computation divisions in Bangalore. You will work on the application and integration of steering, driver‑assist and maneuvering systems for customer projects, contributing to the development of safer and more autonomous vehicles.

Key responsibilities

• Apply and integrate steering and driver‑assist systems into vehicles for customer projects.
• Perform requirements analysis, test planning and set application parameters.
• Conduct system release testing and validation on bench, laboratory and real‑vehicle environments.
• Support technical discussions and negotiations with customers and vendors.
• Coordinate with development partners (systems, hardware, software, CAD) and project managers.
• Prepare and maintain project documentation according to Bosch quality standards.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of application processes.

Required profile

• B.E./B.Tech or M.E./M.Tech in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• 6–10 years of relevant experience.
• Valid 2‑wheel and 4‑wheel driving licence (commercial licence is a plus).
• Strong analytical and creative thinking, structured working style and ability to work independently.
• Willingness to travel and good communication skills in English and Hindi; additional Indian languages are a plus.
