VARC Faculty – Verbal Ability & Reading Comprehension Trainer

About the role

Ekoching is seeking a full‑time VARC Faculty to join its Ahmedabad centre. The role focuses on designing and delivering high‑quality training for the Verbal Ability and Reading Comprehension sections of competitive exams such as CAT, CLAT and IPMAT.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and update teaching materials, practice questions and mock tests for VARC topics.
• Conduct classroom sessions, both theoretical and interactive, to improve students’ comprehension and language skills.
• Assess individual student performance, provide detailed feedback and create personalised study plans.
• Maintain a student‑centric learning environment that motivates and supports learners to achieve their target scores.
• Collaborate with other faculty members to ensure alignment with the overall curriculum.

Required profile

• Strong expertise in Verbal Ability, Reading Comprehension and English language concepts.
• Proven ability to teach and engage students, preferably in a competitive‑exam coaching setting.
• Analytical problem‑solving skills to address diverse learner needs.
• Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in English, Education or a related discipline.

Required skills

• In‑depth knowledge of CAT, CLAT and IPMAT VARC syllabi.
• Experience designing personalised learning strategies and study plans.
