VAPT Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a dynamic VAPT Engineer to join our security team in India. The role focuses on vulnerability assessment and penetration testing of web and mobile applications for our clients. You will work closely with cross‑functional teams to ensure robust security practices.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse customer system environments and products to uncover potential security vulnerabilities.
• Perform attack surface mapping to identify entry points for malicious actors.
• Conduct black‑box or grey‑box security testing on web and mobile applications.
• Execute technical testing against target systems and document findings.
• Provide countermeasures and recommendations to mitigate identified risks.
• Collaborate with development and operations teams to implement security best practices.
• Stay updated on the latest cybersecurity trends, threats, and technologies.
• Prepare clear, concise reports and communicate findings to clients.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Information Technology, BCS or BCA.
• 2–4 years of hands‑on experience as a penetration tester for web and mobile applications.
• Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles, methodologies and best practices.
