About the role
We are seeking an experienced US Tax Professional to join our Ahmedabad office. The role involves preparing and reviewing US individual and business tax returns, ensuring IRS compliance, and providing expert guidance to US‑based clients.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare and review individual tax returns (Form 1040, 1040NR).
- Prepare and review business tax returns (1120, 1120S, 1065).
- Handle US tax compliance, IRS notices, and amended returns.
- Analyze tax documents to identify deductions and credits.
- Manage bookkeeping and accounting tasks, including financial reconciliations.
- Communicate with US‑based clients on tax‑related queries.
Required profile
- Minimum 2 years of hands‑on experience in US taxation.
- Strong knowledge of US tax forms and IRS regulations.
- Good English communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Experience working with US clients.
- Preferred: PTIN holder, EA or CPA qualification.
Required skills
- Proficiency with tax software such as TaxAct, Drake, ProSeries, Lacerte, UltraTax.
- Knowledge of QuickBooks or similar bookkeeping tools.
