US IT Recruiter (Onsite – Ahmedabad)

About the role

We are seeking a motivated US IT Recruiter to join our Ahmedabad office. You will own the full recruitment lifecycle for US‑based IT positions, sourcing and placing talent across contract, contract‑to‑hire and direct‑hire models.

Key responsibilities

• Manage end‑to‑end US IT recruitment, from sourcing to placement.
• Source qualified candidates via LinkedIn Recruiter, job boards, resume databases and referrals.
• Screen resumes and conduct technical and preliminary interviews.
• Collaborate with Account Managers and clients to understand job requirements, skill sets, locations and hiring priorities.
• Recruit for technologies such as Java.NET, Python, Data Engineering, Cloud, DevOps, QA, Business Analysis and Cybersecurity.
• Handle W2, C2C, 1099, contract, contract‑to‑hire and direct‑hire requisitions.
• Verify work authorization, location, availability, compensation expectations and relevant experience.
• Maintain an active pipeline, coordinate interviews, collect feedback, negotiate offers and support candidates through the hiring process.
• Keep accurate candidate data in ATS/CRM systems and build strong relationships with candidates, consultants, vendors and internal stakeholders.

Required profile

• Minimum 1 year of experience in US IT recruitment or staffing.
• Strong knowledge of US work authorizations (H‑1B, Green Card, US Citizen, EAD, OPT) and US time zones.
• Excellent verbal and written communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to multitask in a high‑volume, target‑driven environment.
