US Full-Cycle Accountant

About the role

We are seeking an experienced US Full‑Cycle Accountant to join our growing team at our Mohali office. The role involves managing the complete accounting cycle for international clients, with a focus on US and other foreign accounting standards.

Key responsibilities

• Full‑Cycle Accounting: end‑to‑end accounting, month‑end and year‑end closings, financial statements preparation.
• Bookkeeping: daily entries, general ledger maintenance, bank and credit‑card reconciliations using QuickBooks Online.
• Accounts Payable & Receivable: processing vendor bills, customer invoices, monitoring outstanding balances and maintaining supporting documentation.
• Payroll & Financial Support: recording payroll journal entries, reconciling payroll transactions, assisting with audit and reporting requirements.
• Taxation: assisting in business and individual tax return preparation, preparing schedules, coordinating with tax professionals.
• Compliance & Documentation: organizing records, supporting year‑end closing and audit readiness.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Commerce, Accounting or Finance (e.g., B.Com, M.Com, CA Inter, CMA, CPA, ACCA).
• Minimum 3 years of full‑cycle accounting experience.
• Experience with US accounting or other international accounting environments.
• Hands‑on expertise with QuickBooks Online.
• Strong knowledge of bookkeeping, month‑end close, journal entries and financial reporting.
• Familiarity with tax return preparation.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
