Universal Chat Representative – Customer Experience

About the role

Global Industrial is seeking a Universal Chat Representative to deliver end‑to‑end support for customers interacting via online chat. You will act as the primary point of contact, ensuring issues are resolved quickly and accurately while collaborating with internal teams.

Key responsibilities

• Own the entire chat interaction, providing complete resolution for customer inquiries.
• Gather information, coordinate with product managers and partners, and improve internal processes.
• Investigate and resolve order‑related questions, shipment status, inventory checks, returns, shipping claims, and billing issues.
• Create quotes and place orders according to customer requirements.
• Document all interactions in the system and keep records up to date.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of experience in a chat‑based customer service role.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Experience working in a performance‑driven, metric‑focused environment.
