UI/UX Designer

About the role

ECS is looking for an experienced and creative UI/UX Designer with 3-5 years of professional experience to join its team in Hyderabad. The designer creates user-centered web and mobile applications that are both visually appealing and functional, working with product managers, engineers and other team members to gather user requirements, conduct research and build intuitive designs. The role also includes contributing to design systems and guidelines and running usability tests.

Key responsibilities

• Design user-centered web and mobile applications
• Gather user requirements and conduct research
• Create wireframes, prototypes and high-fidelity mockups
• Contribute to design systems, guidelines and usability testing
• Collaborate with product managers, engineers and developers

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Design, HCI or a related field
• 3-5 years of UI/UX design experience with a strong portfolio of web and mobile projects
• Strong verbal and written communication, able to justify design decisions to stakeholders
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines

Required skills

• User research and analysis, including gathering requirements and iterating designs
• Wireframes, prototypes and high-fidelity mockups in Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD and Balsamiq
• Information architecture: sitemaps and user flows
• UI design of menus, tabs and widgets for web and mobile
• Proficiency in Figma, Sketch, Adobe Creative Suite and InVision
• Preferred: Agile experience, motion and interaction design, HTML/CSS knowledge, design systems, and government website design (TRA guidelines)
