UI/UX Designer (Associate)

About the role

We are seeking a graduate to join our R&D team as an Associate UI/UX Designer. The role bridges academic research and production‑grade UI/UX solutions, working on web and mobile applications.

Key responsibilities

• Design responsive, user‑centric interfaces for web and mobile applications.
• Conduct user research, interviews, and usability testing to understand needs and evaluate designs.
• Collaborate with UX researchers, developers, and product managers to create wireframes, prototypes, and high‑fidelity designs.
• Translate user journeys, personas, and use cases into structured UI flows and layouts.
• Maintain brand consistency by following established brand guidelines and design systems.
• Create and manage UI assets, design libraries, and reusable components for scalable usage.
• Ensure accessibility compliance with WCAG 2.1 and apply usability heuristics.
• Deliver detailed design specifications, UI kits, and handoff files (e.g., Figma, Zeplin, Adobe XD) for development teams.
• Participate in design reviews and iterate based on feedback.
• Work in agile, cross‑functional teams across different geographies and time zones.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Design, Interaction Design, HCI or a related field.
• Proven ability to conduct user research, interviews, and usability testing.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills with the ability to present and justify design decisions.
• Portfolio demonstrating strong examples of web and mobile UI/UX design, including case studies.

Required skills

• Proficiency with design tools such as Figma, Adobe XD, Photoshop, and Illustrator.
• Experience with prototyping tools and creating design libraries.
• Knowledge of WCAG 2.1 accessibility standards and usability heuristics.
• Ability to produce design specifications and handoff assets for development.
