Travel Operations & Refund Specialist (Walk‑In Drive)

About the role

TripJack is hosting a walk‑in recruitment drive for a Travel Operations & Refund Specialist. The role focuses on handling end‑to‑end international and domestic air ticketing, processing refunds, and supporting corporate, marine and travel‑assistance segments.

Key responsibilities

• Manage complete lifecycle of international and domestic air ticket bookings.
• Process refunds for issuance, re‑issuance, cancellations, schedule changes and airline disruptions.
• Verify booking details, fare rules and cancellation policies before refund execution.
• Coordinate with airlines, consolidators and GDS teams to obtain refund approvals and status updates.
• Track pending refunds, follow up with airlines and ensure timely settlement.
• Maintain accurate documentation and records of all refund transactions.
• Communicate refund status and timelines clearly to travel agents.
• Ensure compliance with airline policies, ADM rules and internal SOPs.
• Collaborate with ticketing, amendment and dispute teams for complex cases.
• Prepare MIS reports for refund cases and monitor turnaround time.

Required profile

• Good knowledge of international and domestic air ticketing and refund processes.
• Understanding of fare rules, airline policies and cancellation charges.
• Experience working with GDS systems such as Amadeus, Galileo or Sabre.
• Familiarity with B2B travel platforms like TripJack or TBO.
• Strong attention to detail and problem‑solving ability.
• Effective communication and coordination skills.
