Travel & Expense Associate Analyst

About the role

BASF is building a new Global Hub in India and seeks a Travel & Expense (T&E) Associate Analyst to join its Finance team in Hyderabad. The role offers exposure to the full T&E process across the Americas, supporting internal audits, compliance, and employee reimbursements.

Key responsibilities

• Audit and process employee travel expense reports according to corporate guidelines.
• Manage the service inbox, ensuring timely responses and SLA compliance.
• Identify and propose process improvements to enhance efficiency.
• Perform accurate payment analysis and ensure proper accounting in SAP.
• Collaborate with the T&E Americas team on cross‑region topics and end‑to‑end processes.

Required profile

• Degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Economics or a related field.
• At least 1 year of experience in customer service or accounting.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and communication abilities.
• Ability to thrive in a multicultural, fast‑paced global environment.
• High attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.

Required skills

• Basic Excel proficiency (mandatory).
• Familiarity with SAP (valued).
