Training Manager – Retail & Corporate Learning

About the role

The Training Manager will design, implement, and oversee learning programs for showroom and corporate staff at Kalyan Jewellers in Thrissur. The role focuses on building product knowledge, customer‑service standards, sales effectiveness, and operational excellence across the retail network.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain training curricula, manuals, presentations and e‑learning content.
• Deliver classroom sessions, workshops and refresher courses to diverse learner groups.
• Assess training effectiveness through tests, performance metrics and feedback.
• Maintain accurate training records and coordinate training schedules with store leadership and HR.
• Identify skill gaps, align learning initiatives with business objectives and continuously improve programs.

Required profile

• Proven experience in designing and delivering training programs, including curriculum development and facilitation.
• Strong communication and presentation abilities, capable of engaging varied audiences.
• Understanding of retail or customer‑facing environments; experience in jewellery or luxury retail is a plus.
• Excellent organizational and planning skills to manage multiple programs and documentation.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Human Resources, Education or a related field; professional training certifications are preferred.
• Willingness to work on‑site in Thrissur and travel when required.

• Experience using presentation software.
• Familiarity with online learning platforms.
