Training Lead – Member Operations (UK/EU)

About the role

Tide is looking for an experienced Training Lead to head a dedicated training team responsible for up‑skilling more than 500 employees across its Member Operations function in the UK and EU. The role covers six key areas – Member Support, KYC, Ongoing Monitoring, Collections, Complaints and Quality Assurance – and focuses on both onboarding new Tideans and driving continuous development for existing staff.

Key responsibilities

• Design and execute a comprehensive training strategy aligned with Tide’s business objectives and growth plans.
• Embed a member‑centric learning culture, ensuring every training module reinforces the mission to help SMEs succeed.
• Lead the end‑to‑end delivery of onboarding programmes and ongoing learning pathways for all Member Operations teams.
• Measure training effectiveness and translate insights into business outcomes, improving service quality and operational excellence.
• Collaborate with functional leads to tailor learning solutions for each of the six operational areas.
• Manage, mentor and develop the training team, fostering a people‑first mindset and agile working practices.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading training or learning & development initiatives in a fast‑growing environment.
• Strong leadership skills with a track record of building and managing high‑performing teams.
• Ability to adapt quickly to change and drive continuous improvement.
• Excellent communication skills and a passion for delivering member‑focused learning experiences.
