Tooling Project Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a Tooling Project Engineer to coordinate and technically follow injection‑mold and plastic‑component projects from initial design through final validation. The role works closely with customers, suppliers, the technical office, workshop and internal teams to ensure successful development of automotive plastic parts.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and design plastic components for the automotive sector.
• Create and modify 3D models and technical drawings.
• Provide technical coordination with customers during all development phases.
• Manage injection‑mold projects from design to final validation.
• Coordinate activities between the technical office, workshop, suppliers and clients.
• Conduct feasibility analyses and optimise parts for manufacturing and injection.
• Oversee testing, implement modifications and fine‑tune molds.

Required profile

• Technical background with at least 5 years of experience in a similar role.
• Organised, solution‑oriented and capable of coordinating multiple stakeholders in an industrial project environment.
• Willingness to travel as required.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Unigraphics CAD software.
• Knowledge of thermoplastics and injection‑moulding processes.
• High level of technical English for communication with customers and suppliers.
• Familiarity with injection‑simulation tools such as Moldflow or Moldex3D (valued).
