TIG Welder

About the role

We are looking for a skilled TIG Welder to join our on‑site team at a client facility in Sonipat. The successful candidate will perform precision welding on a variety of metal components, ensuring high‑quality, structurally sound joints that meet technical specifications and safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Set up, operate and maintain TIG welding equipment according to job requirements.
• Prepare, align and joint metal workpieces based on technical drawings and weld symbols.
• Perform visual inspection of welds, detect defects and make adjustments to achieve compliance.
• Carry out basic fabrication tasks and minor repairs as needed.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area and adhere to all PPE and safety guidelines.
• Collaborate with supervisors and fellow technicians to meet production schedules and contribute to continuous‑improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• ITI certification in welding or fabrication (minimum requirement).
• Proven experience in TIG welding within an industrial or manufacturing environment.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, welding symbols and work instructions.
• Knowledge of metal properties and joint preparation for stainless steel, mild steel and other alloys.
• Familiarity with safety standards and proper use of PPE.
