Ticketing Manager

About the role

The Ticketing Manager leads the daily operations of ticketing and admission points, ensuring a smooth visitor experience while maintaining accurate revenue collection. This role oversees a team, coordinates with finance, marketing and events, and guarantees compliance with internal controls.

Key responsibilities

• Manage all ticketing counters and admission points on a day‑to‑day basis.
• Supervise, train and schedule the ticketing team to achieve efficient service.
• Ensure accurate issuance of tickets, receipts and related documentation.
• Monitor cash collections, digital payments, reconciliations and produce daily revenue reports.
• Oversee the ticketing/POS software, liaising with vendors for issue resolution.
• Coordinate opening/closing procedures, cash deposits and audit requirements with Finance.
• Maintain records of visitor footfall, ticket sales, memberships and special event admissions.
• Collaborate with Marketing and Events on promotions, group bookings and special ticketing needs.
• Handle visitor queries, complaints, refunds and exceptional cases according to policy.
• Prepare periodic MIS reports on ticket sales, visitor trends and operational performance.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Hospitality, Tourism, Commerce or related field.
• 2–6 years of experience in ticketing, visitor services or similar environments.
• Prior experience managing a team is preferred.

Required skills

• Proficiency with POS and ticketing software.
• Strong command of Microsoft Excel and MS Office.
