Territory Sales Manager – Medical (India)

About the role

Ansell is seeking a Territory Sales Manager for the medical vertical in India. You will be the trusted advisor for hospitals, nursing homes and diagnostic centres, promoting Ansell’s premium surgical and examination gloves.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and develop new business opportunities in hospitals, nursing homes, diagnostic centres and convert them to Ansell’s product range.
• Build and maintain relationships with end‑users (surgeons, purchase heads, infection control teams) and distributors.
• Train distributor teams, conduct joint calls, in‑services and promotional programmes.
• Create monthly territory plans, monitor competitors, track new projects and record activities in Salesforce.
• Represent Ansell at medical exhibitions, CMEs, trade shows and local healthcare forums.
• Gather market intelligence on tenders and projects and share insights with the internal team.

Required profile

• Minimum 7 years of field sales experience in surgical gloves, medical devices, examination gloves or healthcare PPE.
• Graduation (any stream); MBA preferred but not mandatory.
• Proven track record of converting end‑users and growing distributor networks.
• Strong relationship‑building and communication abilities.
• Ability to travel up to 85 % of the time.

Required skills

• Proficiency with CRM tools, specifically Salesforce.
