Territory Sales Executive – B2B

About the role

The Territory Sales Executive – B2B will lead the bakery and ingredients business in the assigned region. The role focuses on expanding distribution, driving product trials, and building infrastructure to achieve consistent year‑on‑year growth.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and grow the existing distribution network.
• Recruit and appoint sales personnel to cover uncovered bakeries.
• Drive bakery conversion by organizing product trials with technical support.
• Expand the range of bakery fats, ingredients, and margarines sold to customers.
• Set up cold‑chain distribution for whip‑topping products.
• Achieve monthly and quarterly volume targets and reduce expiry stock to zero.
• Utilise Sales Force Automation (SFA) and Distribution Management System (DMS) for automation and reporting.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years experience in fats, ingredients, or bakery product sales.
• Strong knowledge of bakery applications and basic technical concepts.
• Excellent negotiation and communication skills in the local language, Hindi, and English.
• Ability to lead third‑party teams and coordinate with distributors, logistics, and marketing.
• Analytical mindset to interpret data and guide the team toward business goals.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Sales Force Automation (SFA) tools.
• Experience using Distribution Management Systems (DMS).
• General computer literacy.
