Techno‑Commercial Senior Buyer (Site)

About the role

The Techno‑Commercial Senior Buyer supports the site’s strategic and operational procurement activities. Reporting to the Category Lead, the role ensures that purchase requisitions, sourcing initiatives and contract management are executed in line with the site’s techno‑commercial strategy.

Key responsibilities

• Interpret and implement the site’s techno‑commercial strategy and related SOPs.
• Review purchase requisitions, verify completeness and recommend appropriate procurement methods.
• Lead strategic sourcing for CAPEX, OPEX, bulk material and services, including RFI/RFP preparation, bidder identification, pre‑bid meetings and technical/commercial evaluation.
• Conduct fact‑based negotiations, e‑auctions and prepare approval notes for selected vendors.
• Prepare and manage contracts using standard templates, record them in the ERP system and secure required guarantees.
• Administer rate contracts, master outline agreements and generate purchase orders under valid contracts.
• Handle post‑order activities such as billing breakdown, expediting deliveries, query resolution and change order processing.

Required profile

• Senior buyer with experience in site‑level procurement and category management.
• Strong understanding of techno‑commercial processes and strategic sourcing.
• Ability to work autonomously and coordinate with internal stakeholders and external vendors.
