Technician – Power Electronics & Systems

About the role

The Technician will support the engineering team in testing, wiring, and integrating a variety of power electronics and communication equipment, including high‑frequency three‑phase online UPS systems. The role requires a proactive, team‑oriented professional who can collaborate across functions to ensure product quality and timely delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Assist engineers with testing and validation of power electronic systems.
• Perform mechanical assembly of equipment according to engineering specifications.
• Execute system wiring tasks and ensure compliance with engineering requirements.
• Take full ownership of products sent for testing, maintaining accurate logistics records and documentation.
• Support production quality activities, pilot builds, and prototype assembly.
• Identify Design for Manufacturing (DFM) issues during assembly, wiring, and testing and provide feedback to engineers.
• Participate in system integration, troubleshooting, and debugging as needed.
• Ensure adherence to safety, quality, and operational procedures.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to meet project timelines.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of experience developing power conversion products such as UPS, battery chargers, or AC drives.
• Hands‑on experience with system wiring, testing arrangements, and mechanical assembly.
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings.
• Technical education: ITI, JOC, or at least a 2‑year technical course; a diploma is a plus.
• Basic computer proficiency, especially with Microsoft Word and Excel.
