Technical Trainer - Pharmacy

About the role

The Technical Trainer – Pharmacy will design, deliver and manage training programs for frontline associates in a fast‑paced retail pharmacy environment. The aim is to build product knowledge, technical competence and soft‑skill capabilities that create a memorable experience for customers.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and analyse training needs; customise training methodologies accordingly.
• Prepare and maintain a monthly training calendar and coordinate delivery of internal training covering supervisory development, soft skills, technical and process topics.
• Plan and conduct bi‑monthly induction and new‑hire training programs, as well as ongoing up‑skilling sessions for existing staff.
• Deliver on‑the‑job training at retail outlets and collect customer feedback to improve training effectiveness.
• Partner with HR to receive new‑joiner lists, submit attendance, track assessments and address attendance, ID or uniform issues.
• Maintain training databases, generate fortnightly training plans, record actual expenditure and produce MIS reports.
• Liaise with operations teams to incorporate operational modules into new‑hire training and resolve branch‑level issues.

Required profile

• 2‑5 years of relevant training experience in the retail sector.
• Self‑motivated with excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills.
• Customer‑service orientation and a passion for facilitating learning.
• Willingness to travel to retail outlets for on‑site training.
• Fluent in English, Hindi and the local regional language.
